welcome to the portrait dept.
Headshots, personal branding, and business photography for professionals, entrepreneurs, and teams across Burlington, Hamilton, and Halton.
Your brand has a face. Let’s make it a great one. The Portrait Dept. is a portrait studio in Burlington, serving professionals, entrepreneurs, teams, families, and creatives across Burlington, Hamilton, Oakville, and Halton. Every session starts with light, because the best portraits come from light that’s shaped with intention.
Portraits for Every Part of Your Life
From the boardroom to the nursery, I create images built for how you’ll actually use them, on your website, LinkedIn, social feeds, pitch decks, and press features. Our studio offers headshots, personal branding, creative concepts, fashion, maternity, seasonal and holiday minis, prom, proposals, and event coverage, all shot with the same care and attention.
Built for Marketing, Shot by a Marketer
Behind the camera is 25+ years of marketing experience. That means we don’t just make you look good. We make sure your photos do their job, whether they’re opening a sales page, introducing your speaker bio, or holding up a holiday card.
Ready When You Are
Choose your session, send me your preferred date, and I’ll confirm availability and send everything you need to prepare. Browse the work, find your department, and let’s make something worth showing.
