Creative Portrait Photography in Burlington
Some ideas don’t fit inside a standard portrait, and that’s exactly what The Creative Dept. is for. This is creative portrait photography in Burlington for concepts that need a bit more imagination: movie and pop culture recreations, character and cosplay shoots, themed portraits, album and book cover art, and dramatic fine art pieces.
Bring Your Idea to Life
Every project starts with a conversation. You bring the idea, whether it’s fully formed or barely sketched out, and together we’ll plan the look, wardrobe, props, set, and lighting. My recreation of the prom scene from the 1976 film Carrie started as a single idea and became a fully styled production, with a sparkling stage backdrop, dramatic lighting, and careful attention to every detail.

Start Your Creative Project
Whether it’s a one-of-a-kind portrait for yourself, a Halloween concept, a gift, or content that stops the scroll, this is where your imagination gets the full production treatment. Tell me about your idea and let’s make it happen.

The Production — starting at $395
My full creative session, built for ideas that need more than a backdrop and a few poses. Whether you’re recreating a famous movie scene, bringing a character to life, or creating artwork for an album or book, every Feature Production is planned and styled from the ground up so the final images look and feel like the vision in your head.
Before your session, we’ll have a creative planning call to talk through your concept, references, wardrobe, props, and set, then build a mood board and shot list together. On the day, you’ll get a custom studio set and lighting designed specifically for your concept, plus clear, easy direction so you can relax into the character and enjoy the experience. Because creative shoots involve more detailed editing, every image is carefully retouched to bring out the mood and drama of the scene.
